An Introduction to Conceptology.

Internalization is the order and means in which we digest information. It is the process that shapes our understanding of concepts and therefore reality.

We begin with a stimulus input. This can come in many forms. Your subconscious can give you a reminder of an experience. A friend or stranger can ask you a question.

If this stimulus is new, such as a term or situation you've never encountered, your mind begins with searching for associated information. If this experience has occurred before, your mind will instead lean on pre-established information more closely associated with the variable in question.

We might search for relevant knowledge or, ponder and build on what we've already established. Most of us learn through repeated encounters.

Let's look at a model of  the internalization process.

Input - Consideration - Output

Input is the previously discussed stimulus. Consideration is the process in which we weigh the current given input against our previous understanding, beliefs, and perceptions. Output is our, behavior or reaction to the given situation, what we say, do, or believe subsequently.

Consideration isn't given enough practice by, most. Due to a variety of discomforts with self confrontation within their inner narrative. Beliefs tend to, in a sense of the word, disable progress when unhealthy. Excuses we tell ourselves negate the perceived need for change.

Output in our age is scarcely cared for or understood. Many of us see no potential for harm in the relay of information until the Courts call our names. We tend to care solely for the promise of punishment, and not for the real consequences on ourselves, each other, and the populous at large.

A component of Conceptology is to view the very act of choice as, cause and effect in nature. Where choice is inputted as the cause and, consequence as the output. We are all bound to the example we set.

Of course, individual understanding varies. How one has been built to understand the concepts another speaks of, is largely variable in nature. The way the individual understands, must be considered when measuring with the above 'model'.

This is to say - there are effective ways of understanding and ineffective ways of doing so. There is always room to be wrong, but can we be as close to measurably certain as possible?

I weigh choices on a spectrum of Genuinity. Can one be honest with themselves, relevant parties, and those close to them about said choice? Does their output come out positive and honest when properly understood through consideration and explanation? Does this understanding perpetuate harm or good to anyone - including yourself?

For the sake of clarity, I'll define what a concept is. A concept is any purely theoretical yet impactful term used to define a component of the living experience. While respect embodies no physical form, it's impacts remain - I refer to this as, conceptual weight. The burden the concept carries in it's function and definition.

Respect defined as, 'respect through fear', self-perpetuates negatively. While one may accomplish the behavior they seek, they will also accrue several unintended and harmful results. A Genuine Concept, therefore, is one that behaves as defined and perpetuates positive results once properly understood.

The spectrum of Genuinity is my model for behavior as a whole. One end of the semi-circle is, Genuinity. The opposite, is Disingenuinity. In the center, we have non-serious behaviors.

Genuinity is driven by concepts with their foundations in love. Fear, drives Disingenuinity. Consider the inherent self-confidence in excitement, and the fears behind anxiety. While both behaviors are considered anticipatory, they're entirely polar opposite experiences.

The next subject we will cover will be, how these concepts unfold in our minds - within what I call, the Inner Narrative. We'll navigate the how's and why's of it's function.

What are my intentions? I wish to ask every and any question, in the pursuit of alleviating misinformation across the globe. Much of what help exists is, proprietary. Held by, practices and institutions. My theory work, aims to simplify our ability to understand ourselves and one another. I've determined, only forgiveness via understanding has any hope to save this, lovely blue dot we live on.
